Summary
The Senior Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in leading the execution of marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and promotional activities for CATS. Under the guidance of the CATS Marketing Manager, this position is accountable for designing and managing marketing campaigns, promotions, special events, and public information programs. Responsibilities also include representing CATS at various external events, delivering presentations to diverse audiences, analyzing and reporting data, and overseeing team members on specific projects. Collaboration with other departments to enhance CATS' visibility in the community is also a key aspect of this role.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and implements comprehensive marketing and promotional strategies by setting clear objectives, coordinating materials, and analyzing outcomes.
- Provides essential support for promoting CATS ridership and engaging with customers.
- Aids in the creation and execution of advertising campaigns across multiple media platforms, including print, radio, and television, ensuring continuous improvement through evaluations.
- Engages in the development of campaigns to communicate important messages regarding system improvements, fare collection, and service quality.
- Manages the production of brochures and publications, ensuring consistency in design and overseeing graphics development.
- Maintains the District's graphic manual and style guide for all communications.
- Updates and coordinates the production of CATS maps and schedule signage.
- Addresses marketing inquiries from various stakeholders and develops joint marketing initiatives.
- Organizes outreach events by establishing goals, preparing plans, and coordinating logistics.
- Creates joint campaigns with local attractions to boost ridership during off-peak hours.
- Participates in budget preparation and monitoring for the marketing program.
- Prepares analytical reports on marketing operations and activities.
- Collaborates with district departments on marketing strategies.
- Represents CATS in meetings with governmental and community organizations.

- Familiarity with budgeting and accounting practices.
- Knowledge of current marketing trends and project management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed.
Preferred Qualification
Education
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field is required.
Experience
A minimum of five years of experience in marketing with a successful track record in campaign development and execution is essential.
