We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiology Department at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Responsibilities- Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.
- Conduct cardiology consults and follow-ups, supervising stress tests, and evaluating patients before and after cardiac procedures.
- Work alongside internal medicine residents and other APPs on the cardiology consult service with the cardiology attending.
- Obtain patient history and perform assessments, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures, and provide direct treatment and management of health conditions.
- Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
- Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations, and care.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Orthopedic Physician Assistant.
