Mobile Customer Support Specialist

SUMMARY:
Enhance and nurture banking relationships by providing exceptional service to our valued customers in a friendly, efficient, and precise manner. A solid understanding of our offerings is essential to effectively assist customers on the front line. This role also involves fostering relationships by presenting tailored product and service solutions to meet customer needs. This CSR will travel to various branches to cover staff absences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Flexibility is vital in this position. Work hours and shifts will vary based on branch location and staffing requirements. Schedules may change daily.
- Welcome all customers in person and via phone with warmth and friendliness.
- Perform daily teller responsibilities including but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, balancing of the teller drawer, responding to customer inquiries, transfers, and managing safe deposit box access.
- Guide new customers in selecting suitable products.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and empathetically.
- Cross-sell products and services to customers who have indicated a need for specific offerings.
- Utilize computer applications such as the MS Office suite and Customer Information System.
- Execute branch-specific daily transaction scanning, transmitting, and monitoring accurately and efficiently.
- Foster a collaborative atmosphere by assisting colleagues to promote a positive and enjoyable work environment.
- Participate in all required training, including product knowledge, compliance, and customer service as directed by management.
- Engage in community events to support local welfare and create a positive image for the bank.
- Comprehend and comply with all bank policies, procedures, laws, and regulations relevant to this role. Complete compliance training and adhere to internal processes and controls as required.
This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in keyboarding and 10-key typing skills is required. Familiarity with computer and data processing is preferred, including experience with Microsoft Office applications. Strong mathematical, organizational, and professional verbal/written communication skills are essential.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with the general public and colleagues. Capability to read and interpret general business publications.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and manage various situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A valid driver's license is required for travel to various locations, training sessions, customer meetings, and community events. Proficiency in a foreign language is advantageous but not mandatory.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
Must be willing to travel to all locations; this staff member is a floating CSR that covers absences in our branch locations. Must be willing to work on a Saturday rotation in addition to the regular schedule.
