Job Title: Psychiatrist III

Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing advanced psychiatric assessment and treatment to residents in our state-supported living centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general medicine and general psychiatry, with the ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans for residents
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
* Provide medication management and psychopharmacological interventions as needed
* Lead and participate in peer review committees to promote quality improvement and best practices in psychiatric care

Requirements:

* Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree
* Completion of a psychiatric residency program
* Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
