Acute Dialysis RN Operations Manager

About the Role:

The RN Operations Manager is a key member of the DaVita team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hospital services. This role requires a strong leader who can drive results, manage multiple priorities, and develop effective relationships with hospital administration and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Exceed expectations of hospital partners by adhering to contractual responsibilities and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Financial Management: Drive bottom-line results by managing budgets, forecasting expenses, communicating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with public health and safety standards.
  • Patient Care: Impact patient lives by monitoring clinical outcomes, utilizing DaVita's quality metrics, and collaborating with doctors, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Teamwork: Develop, mentor, and inspire a cohesive team by interviewing and hiring, monitoring compliance, conducting teammate evaluations, and leading teammate satisfaction initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related area strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in management (healthcare, business, or military) or equivalent renal experience (nurse, dietitian, social worker, LPN, etc.) at discretion of DVP and/or ROD.
  • Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse if required by state of employment.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification required (or certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire or change in position).
