Job Summary:

As a Speech Pathologist at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will adhere to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirement guidelines, serving as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing techniques.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Speech Pathologist in the state of practice.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
