Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Thrive Staffing. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
- Knowledge of imaging equipment and software, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to multitask
