Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Supportive Community Innovations. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work closely with individuals with Autism, developmental differences, and general behavioral and mental health concerns, providing assistance in skill building and independent living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement feedback accurately and efficiently from clinical and administrative staff.
  • Work in various settings including client homes, community spaces, and outpatient offices.
  • Collaborate closely with a variety of technicians, clinical and administrative support professionals, and families.
  • Show enthusiasm for learning and teaching others, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Comply with all safety and procedure protocols to ensure the well-being of individuals under your care.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance/registration.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass extensive background checks and drug screenings.
  • Day and evening availability (weekends may be required).

    • Ability to brainstorm and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration:
    • Compassion towards others, no exceptions.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, clinical and administrative support professionals, individuals, and families.
    • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
