Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at MOBIS. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery and assembly equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including hydraulic presses, centrifugal pumps, and conveyor systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure new equipment installations meet safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including daily and monthly activity reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA and Mobis Alabama standards.
  • Provide training and support to team members on maintenance procedures and best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance technician roles, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with SAP and Lean work practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Working Conditions
  • 80% of time spent on the production floor, 20% in the office.
  • Extensive walking and standing on the production floor.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts and weekends.
