About the Role

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing thorough and accurate diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. You will work closely with our team to maintain and comply with the guidelines of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and effective use of radiopharmaceuticals and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

* Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals as required

* Performing complex nuclear medicine procedures and utilizing computer systems to process and manipulate patient data

* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines

* Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A degree from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology

* Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

* A strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles and practices

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
