As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nuclear medicine services. This position involves working closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for executing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures while adhering to the regulations set forth by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. You will also ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals based on the nature of patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer the appropriate radiopharmaceuticals for procedures.
  • Conduct complex nuclear medicine examinations and utilize advanced technology to analyze patient data for accurate results.
  • Maintain meticulous records to ensure departmental compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Document patient outcomes accurately on designated platforms.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on all nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and dose calibrators.
  • Utilize mathematical calculations to assess the decay of radiopharmaceuticals and their biological half-lives.
  • When necessary, operate mobile units to provide services at various locations.

This role may involve additional physical demands and exposure to low-level radiation, requiring adherence to safety protocols. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
