As a part of the INTEGRIS Health Enid Hospital Nuclear Medicine team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nuclear medicine services. Your expertise will support our healthcare professionals and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer appropriate radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Conduct advanced nuclear medicine procedures while utilizing computer systems to process and analyze patient data.
- Maintain comprehensive records to ensure compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines.
- Perform quality control checks on nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and dose calibrators.
- Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate the decay of radiopharmaceuticals and their biological half-lives.
- Drive mobile units to provide services at various locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Valid Oklahoma State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
This role may involve exposure to low-level radiation and other health risks associated with nuclear medicine. Applicants will be considered without regard to any protected status as defined by applicable laws.
