Job Summary
The Clinical Care Specialist provides on-site nursing and attendant care to patients in Newport Healthcare facilities. This role involves performing various job responsibilities in alignment with the mission and core values of Newport Healthcare and complying with all policies and procedures, OSHA, HIPPA, local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and nursing services to patients as prescribed by program regulations and individual treatment plans, including collecting medical specimens.
- Maintain accurate records, including medication administration, medical records, and medical charts.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings as needed.
- Prevent client abuse by adhering to all policies and procedures and reporting suspicious behavior.
- Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures.
- Obtain patient data and vital signs and report findings to the RN/Medical Director.
- Screen residents for medical/dental exams and schedule appointments as needed.
- Comply with all reporting requirements and biohazard program protocols.

Requirements
- Must hold a current LPN/LVN license in the state of employment.
