Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Specialist to join our team at the Ahmanson/UCLA Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center. As part of our consolidated program, you will work closely with our existing ACHD specialists to deliver high-quality outpatient care to a growing population of approximately 3000 adult congenital heart disease patients in Orange County, California.

About Us

The Ahmanson/UCLA Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center is part of a combined congenital heart program created by CHOC and UCLA, aiming to provide the highest quality congenital heart care for patients in southern California. Our center offers comprehensive clinical and research opportunities, as well as faculty appointments to UC Irvine School of Medicine.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality outpatient ACHD care to a growing patient population.
  • Develop a streamlined transition and transfer process for patients from the children's hospital system to the adult healthcare system.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide access to high complexity tertiary and quaternary care for ACHD patients.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Board Certified/Board Eligible cardiology physician degree.
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills, with experience in adult congenital heart disease.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
What We Offer
