Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering professional nursing care to patients, adhering to established national and organizational standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate care plans that ensure continuity of care in line with established standards.
- Conduct health assessments by engaging patients in discussions about their current health status and medical history.
- Identify patient and family needs, providing education and instructional resources.
- Offer psychosocial support to patients and their families.
- Facilitate clinical operations and ensure optimal patient care.
- Manage medication refill requests from pharmacies and accurately document in patient records.
- Coordinate consultations, pre-testing, diagnostic procedures, referrals, and follow-up appointments for patients.
- Triage patient phone inquiries as necessary, documenting relevant information in patient charts.
- Promote effective communication between patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, coordinating services related to patient care.
- Assist patients in identifying available community resources.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Serve as a resource for LPNs/LVNs and medical assistants.
The ideal candidate for the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) position will possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Open to entry-level, mid-level, or senior candidates.
- Current RN state license in the practicing state.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
