Warranty Administrator Job Summary

Transteck, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to join our team at our Freightliner of Harrisburg dealership. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for processing warranty service and parts claims, maintaining warranty schedules, and expediting warranty credits due.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain effective working relationships with Freightliner and vendor representatives to ensure seamless warranty processing.
  • Manage department correspondence and files to ensure accurate and efficient warranty claims processing.
  • Review warranty repair orders, determine standard repair times, and resolve discrepancies with the assistance of Shop Foremen and Service Manager.
  • Maintain up-to-date warranty schedules to ensure timely payment of claims, and provide weekly updates to the Service Manager, Service Director, and Chief Financial Officer.
  • Ensure compliance with Warranty Process procedures for Service, Parts, and Accounting.
  • Organize and maintain the warranty parts holding area to ensure efficient parts management.
  • Process weekly warranty parts returns and scrap reports, and forward to the parts shipper and receiver for processing.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Working Conditions:
  • Primarily a climate-controlled office environment.

Must pass background and criminal records check, physical exam, and drug screen.
