Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a school in the Lincoln, NE area. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, creating customized treatment plans, and providing education and training to families and caregivers.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student's unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to speech therapy assistants as needed.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred.
  • Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
  • Previous experience in a speech-language pathology setting.
  • Experience working in a school setting as an SLP is preferred.
