Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Job Description

Leadec is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed work packages and job plans, including equipment, parts, materials, documentation, and special tools.
  • Assist in preparing work orders and ensuring timely delivery of parts and services.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in maintaining an effective backlog of planned work and ensuring maintenance resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Maintain established metrics of performance to drive continuous improvement in the maintenance function.
  • Assist with parts inventory, materials, special tools, and personnel requirements for the department.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to maintain accurate estimates for craft hours, labor, and material costs for each work order.
  • Routinely meet with the Maintenance Manager and Operations Leadership to ensure work order priorities are established and work packages are completed and available.

  • Customer Service Orientation: Satisfying customers and delivering exceptional service.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to deal with unexpected challenges or circumstances.
  • Problem Solving: Defining problems and bringing about viable solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in CMMS systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
