Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team at Aspirion Health Resources. As a key member of our Document Control team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our document management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned work-in-progress (WIP) list daily to reduce outstanding items
  • Understand document requests from operators and retrieve them from multiple client hospital accounting and imaging systems
  • Notate accounts in Collect when documents have been pulled and distribute to proper staff for further processing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle varied and large volumes of work with ease
  • Meet and exceed established goals for the position
  • Follow established department processes and procedures
  • Adhere to company and client security policies to protect confidential information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines regarding PHI
  • Maintain work area in a professional and HIPAA-compliant state
Requirements
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to achieve business goals
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills
  • Maintains strict confidentiality regarding Patient Health Information (PHI) as well as follows HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to work on-site during probationary period in Lakeland, FL
