Job Title: LPN Specialist or Medical Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled LPN Specialist or Medical Assistant Specialist to join our team at Watson Clinic.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate patient needs through telephone triage.
  • Administer medication, including injections, and document medication given or prescribed by the ordering physician.
  • Provide patient and family education, and recognize and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Adhere to Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting information in patient records.
  • Facilitate the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician's office.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
  • Active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Preferred: Experience or training in a medical healthcare facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Additional Qualification: 1 year experience in primary care setting and current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years.
  • Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment.

A one-year commitment is required for the sign-on bonus. New employees only.
