Job Summary

Pacific Coast Producers, a leading agricultural cooperative, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join its team at its Production Facility in Lodi, CA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including wiring, motors, switches, panels, circuit breakers, and lighting.
  • Equipment Installation and Calibration: Install, connect, adjust, and calibrate electrical gauges and recording instruments, as well as plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on specifications and codes.
  • Tool Operation and Safety: Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, and testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, multi-meters, or test lamps, while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Code Compliance and Documentation: Possess demonstrable skills for specifying and properly sizing of wire, conduit, circuit breakers, and fuses per NEC and other applicable codes, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Read and understand blueprints and schematic diagrams, diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, and work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Completed a related educational degree, certificate, or program; and/or comparable work experience, plus formal training in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Licensing and Certifications: Holds applicable licensing and certificate(s) in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Skills and Abilities: Fundamental aptitude, which may be assessed by a practical exam, experience in food production and manufacturing environments, ability to understand and utilize PLC programs to aid in troubleshooting, and AutoCAD experience for creating electrical drawings.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance, self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
