The Program Coordinator will oversee our primary offering - our language classes. This role encompasses managing our Teaching Fellowship (teacher development program), overseeing our internship program, supervising interns and volunteers, and handling the logistical elements of our language classes, including scheduling, teacher coordination, and class registration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the language program, ensuring effective class scheduling, teacher coordination, customer service, and logistical support.
  • Manage the Teaching Fellowship, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and ongoing support for Teaching Fellows.
  • Coordinate GLN's Volunteer and Internship Program, focusing on recruitment, training, and management of volunteers and interns.
  • Act as a liaison for GLN's broader member base and engage with the public, including learners and supporters.
  • Handle incoming calls to the GLN office during business hours and address urgent matters as needed.
  • Maintain partnerships with external organizations, facilitating regular communication and logistical coordination for class hosting.
  • Assist GLN's Executive Director and leadership team with daily operational tasks as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to accommodate volunteer availability, particularly during evenings.
  • Support Teacher Training sessions, typically held on Sundays throughout the year.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is $40,000, structured as $3,000 per month for 11 months, with a final payment of $7,000 after the 12th month. We offer raises, bonuses, and promotions to dedicated employees who exhibit success and commitment.

Past salary examples based on performance include $40k, $45k, $50k, and $60k.
