About the Role
As a Domestic Forwarding Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients. Your primary goal will be to secure sales by highlighting the benefits of our client's services.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients through in-person meetings, phone calls, email correspondence, and online interactions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to promote our client's freight and warehousing services to potential clients.
- Logistics Expertise: Be familiar with our client's online toolkit, including quoting, booking, tracking, and reporting systems.
- Client Solutions: Work closely with the operations team to provide customized logistics solutions that meet clients' unique requirements.
Requirements:
- Education: A college degree is preferred, but a high school graduate with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Experience: At least two years of sales experience with a proven track record of generating new sales. Experience selling to large corporations is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Minimum one year of experience in the freight industry, preferably with an existing book of freight business.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, including Teams and PowerPoint, and a stable work history with demonstrable success.
