Role DescriptionThe Sales Representative will promote and sell Truckstop.com products and services to customers within our carrier persona. Key responsibilities include up-selling and cross-selling to our existing customer base, serving as a trusted advisor and consultant, and interacting primarily via phone and email in an inside sales environment.
- Engage existing customers to offer additional products and services
- Consult with customers to gather information and recommend suitable products
- Meet sales objectives by successfully selling Truckstop.com products and services
- Utilize multiple computer systems/screens simultaneously to process sales
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consultation, multitasking, and problem-solving
- Maintain a sales pipeline, accurately forecast opportunity outcomes
- Closely collaborate with manager to meet weekly discussion goals and provide sales summaries
- Develop in-depth knowledge of industry trends and Truckstop.com's offerings
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma; a college degree is preferred
- Experience meeting and attaining sales quotas
- Background in shipping and logistics, preferably with software sales experience
- Minimum three years' experience in software sales, including presenting sales demonstrations to clients over the phone
- Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency, desirable but not required
We offer a competitive salary range of $21.50/hour based on various factors, including location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, and experience. Additionally, qualified candidates may be eligible for commission-based compensation tied to meeting monthly targets.
