**About the Role**
You will play a crucial role in building and enhancing a secure platform for autonomy development as a Software Security Engineer at Applied Intuition. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing security processes and tools across major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises environments. You will also develop tools and standards used by engineers across the organization to improve the security posture of our platform.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to ensure the security of our tools and products. We encourage engineers to take ownership over technical decisions, interact closely with users and customers to collect feedback, and contribute to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture.

The Job Description
- Build product features that help our customers manage access and usage of their Applied Intuition software
- Design and implement security processes and tools across major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) as well as on-premises environments
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect internal and external systems, networks, and data
- Develop and implement procedures that are in compliance with legal and ethical standards and ensure that our customer data is protected and secure

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development in the security domain
- Strong understanding of modern secure software development best practices
- Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
- Strong understanding of system security and data protection
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
- A Bachelor's in computer science or related field

Benefits
Compensation at Applied Intuition includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Our pay range reflects the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will be influenced by various factors, including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position. For this full-time position, the estimated annual salary range is $125,000 - $222,000 USD.
