About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our senior living operations at Presbyterian Villages of Michigan. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall success of our organization, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to our senior living team, ensuring that our operations are aligned with our organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our senior living facilities, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care and services.
  3. Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that our financial resources are allocated effectively to support our operations.
  4. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth and improvement in our senior living operations.
  5. Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with our residents, families, and community partners, ensuring that our organization is responsive to their needs and concerns.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our senior living operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  7. Staff Development: Provide leadership and guidance to our staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality care and services.
  8. Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in our senior living operations and develop strategies to address them.
  9. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that could impact our senior living operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Aging Services, Hospitality, or Health Care Management.
  • Experience: Five to seven years of experience in health care management, preferably in senior executive roles.
  • Computer Skills: High level of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office programs, timekeeping systems, and other computer systems consistent with daily operations.
  • Other Requirements: Knowledge and experience in critical areas, including home for the aged, sales and marketing, assisted living/memory care, and wellness initiatives. Licensed Nursing Home Administrator certification a plus.
