IT Director

Hartman Executive Advisors is a leading technology advisory and leadership firm that works with executives and nonprofit leaders to align IT solutions with business goals and strategy.

We are seeking an experienced IT leader to join our team as a Director of IT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service desk operations, technical support, and team management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client IT teams and processes on a fractional basis, ensuring system reliability, availability, and recoverability. They will also be responsible for implementing technical solutions, promoting a sustainable technology framework, and coordinating related systems.

The Director of IT will work closely with our team of seasoned IT leaders and other technology advisors to deliver powerful business outcomes for our clients. They will be responsible for managing multiple tasks and projects, building and managing strong relationships within a standard 40-hour work week.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and results-orientation, as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.

Key qualifications include:

• 5-7+ years of progressively responsible, related experience
• Background and knowledge in banking and/or credit unions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, build and manage strong relationships within a standard 40-hour work week
• Strong problem-solving and creative skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
• Initiative to identify and communicate opportunities to contribute additional value to existing and prospective clients
• Self-motivated, independent, cooperative, flexible, and creative

The Director of IT will be responsible for:

• Managing client IT teams and processes on a fractional basis
• Implementing technical solutions to improve and streamline operations and services
• Promoting a sustainable technology framework and coordinating related systems
• Assuming project management responsibilities on assigned projects
• Managing network, application, and server infrastructure teams, processes, and performance of systems administration activities
