The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist Physician to join our team at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete patient history and physical examinations, diagnosis, and therapeutic ability
  • Effectiveness in emergencies, patient management, consultation, specialty skills, and record keeping
  • Perform endoscopy procedures and promote delivery of quality patient care based on current standards in the practice of gastroenterology
  • Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students in a hospital setting
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and research initiatives
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong teaching and mentoring skills
Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, no on-call. Alternative work schedules may be available, including part-time appointments.
