Job Summary

Ahmc Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Facilities to oversee the operation of our facilities at Seton Medical Center and Seton Coastside. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of our facilities, including engineering, biomedical engineering, security, telecommunications, and EVS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the facilities department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to guide the provision of services.
  • Conduct data analysis and cost projections to optimize revenue and expenses.
  • Anticipate future trends and develop strategies to improve the value of services provided.
  • Supervise and coordinate programs and systems to safely maintain buildings, properties, and grounds.
  • Develop and manage the capital budget for the medical office buildings.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and supervise tenant improvement projects.
  • Ensure a safe, efficient, and effective working environment through the development and implementation of work processes.
  • Recommends space and other resources, manages maintenance programs, and plans for new technologies and equipment replacement.
  • Maintains and administers the Seton Operations System for continuous monitoring and improvement of quality of care and services provided.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an affiliated area of responsibility, Master's preferred.
  • Five years of facilities or building management experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with various individuals both inside and outside the organization.
  • Proficient with computer systems, including MS Office.
Working Conditions

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to fingers, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk and hear, and may taste and smell. The employee is regularly required to lift, push, and/or pull weights in excess of 10 pounds, with assistance.
