Position Overview

Precious Home Healthcare LLC is currently looking for dedicated individuals to fill the role of Home Health Aide. This position involves delivering essential personal care services to patients in their residences under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The work schedule is flexible and may include nights, weekends, and holidays based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

The Home Health Aide will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care services such as bathing and grooming.
  • Assisting with household tasks that are vital for health maintenance.
  • Maintaining accurate visit records promptly.
  • Communicating any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising RN.
  • Facilitating patient mobility and exercise routines.
  • Carrying out basic procedures as directed by therapy or nursing staff, including range of motion exercises.
  • Helping with self-administered medications.
  • Participating in scheduled training and educational programs.
  • Attending patient care meetings as required.
Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Health Aide training and competency, and provide proof of completion. This position requires a compassionate demeanor and the ability to manage the physical demands of caring for patients, including heavy lifting and extensive mobility.

Reliable transportation is essential as care is provided in patients' homes. All applicants must successfully complete a BCI background check and a two-step PPD Tuberculosis test at their own expense. A valid CPR certification is also required.
