Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Remember Me Senior Care. As a key member of our care team, you will provide daily routine nursing care and services to support the care delivered to our residents, particularly those living with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily routines, personal care, and housekeeping tasks.
  • Carry out daily resident programming and activities.
  • Report observations and other pertinent information related to resident care.
  • Provide services that support the care delivered to residents, reviewing care plans daily to determine if changes in the daily care routine have been made.
  • Participate in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
  • Identify staff educational needs and participate in their development.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner, adhering to unit facility policies.
  • Ensure resident safety and cleanliness, removing soiled linens and performing checks on residents as needed.
  • Assist with dietary responsibilities, including serving meals and cleaning the meal area.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year Nursing Assistant experience or student nurse preferred.
  • Experience working with the elderly is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPR and first aid training.
  • Completion of certification program for Nursing Assistants.

Work Environment:

Our team members work in well-lit and ventilated areas, with occasional exposure to therapy animals. They may be subject to falls, burns from equipment, infectious diseases, and other hazards. Our team members are expected to maintain a professional demeanor and provide compassionate care to our residents and their families.
