Job Title: Personal Care Attendant

Norwill Healthcare Services, LLC is a healthcare agency dedicated to providing high-quality care to our community's loved ones. We are a team of caregivers who genuinely care for the health and well-being of our patients.

Job Purpose:
Our Personal Care Attendants play a vital role in enabling patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording their condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families how to care for their loved ones.

Duties:
* Monitor patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise.
* Provide housekeeping and laundry services, shop for food and other household requirements, prepare and serve meals and snacks, and run errands as needed.
* Assist patients with personal services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Help patients care for themselves by teaching the use of canes or walkers, special utensils to eat, and special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
* Teach family members how to care for the patient by advising on nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
* Record patient information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying the nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions.
* Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment by following agency standards and procedures, maintaining security precautions, and following prescribed dietary requirements and nutrition standards.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
* Protect the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
* Enhance service reputation by taking ownership of accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
