About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Small Format Team Leader to join our team at Target. As a Small Format Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly team members in a fast-paced retail environment. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional guest service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a safe and efficient store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of hourly team members to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional guest service
  • Manage daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve guest engagement
  • Collaborate with other store leaders to achieve business objectives and improve store performance
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure a safe and efficient store environment by maintaining a clean and organized store, and adhering to all safety protocols
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous retail experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results and achieving business objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
