Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Overview
As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations. This includes submitting and maintaining licenses, liaising with regulators, and monitoring club activities to ensure compliance.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of Property Compliance, including managing regulatory requirements and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Maintain strong business relationships with regulatory authorities, including the LSP, State Fire Marshall, and Louisiana Health District.
- Aid various departments in relation to compliance matters, regularly interacting with legal, casino, and hotel marketing teams.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of regulations, codes, and statutes as they pertain to gaming, liquor, food, and beverage operations.
- Review and edit rules for marketing events, promotions, and offers to ensure they meet minimum federal and state standards.
- Submit and oversee applications for property licenses, gaming equipment installs, and other regulatory filings.
- Provide guidance and oversight on property compliance and other policies/procedures, including training and work card requirements.
- Monitor jurisdictional websites and disseminate information internally.
- Attend industry workshops and seminars to stay up-to-date on regulation or industry changes.
- Collaborate with the general counsel and government relations team on legislative bills and local ordinance drafting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Excellent writing and communication skills required.
- The ability to obtain and keep any position-required work cards, including a Gaming License.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
