Technical Sales Professional

Seeking a skilled Technical Sales Professional to join our team at GAMARC Consulting in Nicholasville, KY. This is a full-time, hybrid position with a competitive salary of $85,000+ and bonus structure.
About the Role:
The Sales Engineer will work closely with the Account Manager to develop strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing technical consultation to align our manufacturing capabilities with their requirements.
Customer Overview:
GAMARC Consulting specializes in precision CNC machining, supplying high-quality components for industries such as aerospace, medical, and mining. We are looking for a technically savvy Sales Engineer to play a key role in customer development and the creation of technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and technical support.
- Work closely with the Account Manager to identify new business opportunities and expand existing ones.
- Provide technical consultation to customers on our manufacturing capabilities and processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical sales, engineering, or manufacturing, with a preference for CNC machining experience.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly CNC machining, with the ability to effectively communicate these concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage in meaningful conversations that foster and enhance customer relationships.
- Demonstrated expertise in quoting and estimating jobs within a machining or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software; familiarity with JobBOSS2 and/or QuickBooks Online is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, customer-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ITAR, AS9100, or comparable regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems for managing customer data and tracking sales processes.
- Background in working with growing businesses or startups.
