**Job Summary**

This Orthodontic Patient Coordinator position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out, verifying patient insurance eligibility, and ensuring quality care to every patient.

Competitive compensation $48,000 - $62,000 per year (based on location), with quarterly bonuses based on office performance.

**Responsibilities**
  1. Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
  2. Greet parents and patients when they enter or leave the office.
  3. Check in for daily appointments.
  4. Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area and front desk area.
  5. Verify patient insurance eligibility prior to appointment.
  6. Ensure information is correct in the patient's file.
  7. Schedule follow-up appointments for all patients.
  8. Assist with meeting the financial targets by ensuring schedules are full.
  9. Coordinate with Ortho Financial Coordinator and Doctors to provide same-day care to patients.

**Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Willingness to travel in assigned territory.
  • High focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Compassion and high level of service for patients, parents, and staff.
  • Integrity, always doing the right thing.
  • Dependable and reliable attendance.
  • Able to organize work, engage in various tasks simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Professional manner and appearance at all times.
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and information gathering skills.
