About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caregiver - Patient Support Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Avista. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team will make you an invaluable asset to our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to patients, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Assist the care team in achieving daily patient and family goals, working closely with other caregivers to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing your expertise and insights to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Qualifications

To be successful as a Caregiver - Patient Support Specialist at AdventHealth, you must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (required within one year of hire).
  • A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the state.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
