Position Highlights:

In the role of Senior Environmental Engineer, you will lead a diverse range of technical environmental initiatives, collaborating with clients across various sectors, including industrial, educational, and more. Your responsibilities will encompass fieldwork, including overseeing drilling operations, conducting sampling, classifying soil, and coordinating laboratory analyses. You will apply your expertise in both office and field settings, addressing site assessments, hydrogeological investigations, and brownfield redevelopment projects. You will oversee projects from start to finish, managing client communications, proposals, field operations, and financial aspects. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, foster strong client relationships, and actively participate in professional industry organizations. This position offers a dynamic blend of practical fieldwork and strategic project management, contributing significantly to environmental health and safety.


Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting
  • At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in project management, including monitoring project scope, schedule, and budget, client interactions, project execution oversight, invoicing, budget tracking, and managing change orders/modifications
  • Professional registration in the relevant state
  • Experience in liaising with regulatory agencies and representatives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work outside standard business hours and travel as necessary for project assignments
