About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager III to join our team at Wanzek Construction. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for directing, planning, and managing the overall construction project(s) from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the project team to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of construction workers, supervisors, and other construction managers.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts, issues, and problems that may arise during the project.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure project quality and safety standards are met.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress reports, financial reports, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Seven years of experience in construction management, with a minimum of three years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
