Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Network Engineer to join our team at NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the planning, designing, and construction coordination of broadband communication systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist with project status to ensure progress toward completion and required procedural steps are completed fully and in a timely manner.
  • Construction Job Creation: Create construction jobs from a variety of intake sources, validate documentation, and obtain additional information as needed to move the job forward.
  • System Design: Participate in the design of broadband communication systems using various design software packages.
  • Documentation and Mapping: Prepare special keys, charts, diagrams, and graphic drawings for use by other departments, update and maintain system maps, keys, and design files, and track and keep current system spreadsheets and documents.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to design systems and determine project specifications.
  • Communication: Regularly communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: Generally requires 2-5 years related experience
