Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and organized Clinical Support Coordinator to join our team at Regional Medical Center of Memphis. As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing diagnostic EKGs, collecting specimens, and assisting with special procedures and examinations.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with medical staff, patients, and families to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing patient care by performing assigned tasks for patient care plan implementation.
  • Taking and recording patient's vital signs, preparing and forwarding specimens, and delivering activities of daily living.
  • Maintaining records of fluid intake and output, providing measures of comfort and convenience, and observing and reporting patient's response to interventions/treatment.
  • Performing diagnostic EKGs, obtaining medical and lab records, and communicating unit activities, needs, and problems to appropriate staff.
  • Collecting specimens, performing phlebotomy functions, and working collaboratively with medical/hospital staff and patients to coordinate and implement patient care activities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A completion of an approved medical assistant program or a nursing assistant program with documentation of training in EKG and Phlebotomy.
  • Qualified by education, training, or experience to work with neonatal, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patients as specialty assignment dictates.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification upon hire.
  • The ability to lift, position, and transport patients utilizing proper technique and equipment.

Salary:
$58,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
