Clinical Nurse Educator Role Overview

Regional One Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at the Regional Medical Center of Memphis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert guidance and support to nursing staff in developing their skills and competencies.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating educational activities, including orientation, competency validation, and continuing education programs. You will also serve as a clinical resource for staff and leadership, providing guidance and support to help them elevate their practice and meet regulatory standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining educational records and evaluating the effectiveness of courses and programs.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Coordinate educational activities, including orientation, competency validation, and continuing education programs.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for staff and leadership, providing guidance and support to help them elevate their practice and meet regulatory standards.
  • Maintain educational records and evaluate the effectiveness of courses and programs.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Development Specialist and assigned unit Nurse Manager to develop and implement educational strategies.
  • Provide direction and support to clinical staff in clinical decision making, priority setting, resuscitation, stabilization, crisis intervention, and disaster preparedness and response.
