Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Medicaid Outreach & Retention Representative. This position is crucial for the statewide education, outreach, and retention of Presbyterian Medicaid members, as well as the acquisition of new prospects.

Key Responsibilities
As a representative of Presbyterian, you will engage with the community, fostering and managing relationships with essential government and community advocacy organizations. Your role will involve:

  • Creating and delivering educational presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Addressing escalated inquiries that require in-depth research and resolution of complex issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with CMS, NCQA, and State of New Mexico regulations, as well as established policies and procedures.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, an Associate's degree or three years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred, along with the ability to communicate in one or more New Mexico Native American languages, if applicable. Candidates should possess:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a managed care organization, preferably within Medicaid Plans.
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience in health insurance, healthcare retention, community outreach, or marketing.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Additional Skills
Proficiency in MS Office and database management is required. The ability to travel within the State of New Mexico is essential, as is the capacity to lift 35 to 70 pounds for event setup and logistics.
