Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in North America. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs, attending site inspections, and participating in project meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for geotechnical projects
  • Attending site inspections, investigations, and monitoring to ensure project deliverables
  • Participating in project, client, and team meetings to discuss project progress and requirements
  • Reviewing, preparing, and modifying designs to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Analyzing reports, specifications, and studies to inform project decisions
  • Gaining exposure to project, commercial, and client management to develop business acumen
  • Undertaking a 'digital by default' approach in deliverables to enhance project efficiency
  • Participating in our Early Careers Professionals Network to share knowledge and best practices
  • Supporting our 'Purpose' in everything you do to drive social outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with a focus on geotechnical engineering
  • Methodical approach to problem-solving to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
  • Excellent technical written communication and attention to detail to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing
  • Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Work towards Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Demonstrable interest in geotechnical engineering projects through relevant experience, such as field of study, internships, volunteering, or relevant association memberships
