Reconstruction Operations Supervisor

The Reconstruction Operations Supervisor is accountable for effectively overseeing and directing all restoration projects to ensure they are completed efficiently, within the designated timeframe and budget for our flagship office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and assign tasks for the initiation and completion of restoration projects.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members involved in restoration activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project status.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for all direct report team members on an annual, mid-year, and 90-day basis.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new team members based on the required skill set.
  • Facilitate weekly management meetings and progress reviews.
  • Assist in resource allocation for emergency services.
  • Create work orders for ongoing projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for necessary repairs.
  • Supervise on-site Foreman for each project.
  • Order necessary materials for project completion.
  • Authorize purchase orders as needed.
  • Manage accounts receivable processes.
  • Review project estimates and align budgets with expectations.
  • Provide weekly updates on all active projects.
  • Offer feedback on construction processes.
  • Engage in negotiations with insurance providers and property owners.
  • Resolve conflicts involving carriers, property owners, vendors, and tradespeople.
  • Audit customer service feedback and complaints.
  • Ensure budgetary expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Assist in the collections process.
  • Monitor job sites for safety compliance, quality assurance, and training opportunities.
  • Participate in industry-related training and association events.
  • Fulfill weekly on-call management responsibilities.
  • Adhere to the core values, vision, mission, and service principles of Paul Davis.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of five years in a management or leadership position within the restoration or construction sector.
  • Experience in construction management and supervision.
Preferred:
  • Class A or B General Contracting Licenses.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The employee may occasionally need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


Work Environment:

The employee will work both indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to various weather conditions.


Travel Requirements:

This position may require up to 25% local travel to job sites, training sessions, and company events as necessary.
