Job Title: Reconstruction Project Director

Kustom US Inc is seeking a highly skilled Reconstruction Project Director to lead our restoration projects from contract signing to final payment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with insurance contacts, finalizing the scope of work, and working with our Superintendent to ensure accurate billing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the main point of contact for customers, insurance adjusters, and office staff.
  2. Review onsite conditions, complete walkthroughs with insurance adjustors, and write up scope of work and estimates.
  3. Obtain signed performance authorizations from owners.
  4. Ensure emergency jobs are complete and safe prior to reconstruction.
  5. Work with customers to gain reconstruction business after mitigation.
  6. Collaborate with our Superintendent to coordinate permit pulls, staffing, materials, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  7. Communicate with project coordinators and division leaders to ensure projects are on track from a timeline and budget standpoint.
  8. Determine necessary steps to start job production while additional resources are being deployed.
  9. Determine when to extend beyond standard protocol to resolve potential issues or secure potential work.
  10. Assist with orders, complete approvals, and upload paperwork for accurate billing.
  11. Participate in bi-weekly Work-In-Progress (WIP) reviews.
  12. Establish relationships with subcontractors and material suppliers to increase future job efficiencies.
  13. Manage the execution of change orders and communication of changes to all stakeholders.
  14. Manage conflict resolution between all stakeholders.
  15. Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours service calls.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of project management experience in the construction and/or restoration industry.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  3. Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per company policy.
  4. Strong leadership skills with capabilities to facilitate company teamwork to achieve business goals.
  5. Strong ability to foster business development networks within various restoration organizations.
  6. In-depth knowledge and proficiency using Xactimate to estimate mitigation or reconstruction projects.
  7. IICRC WRT, FSRT Certifications preferred.
  8. Xactimate level 1 certification preferred.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Experience with managing cost controls, budgeting, and forecasting.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to lift 50 LBS and occasionally climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in extreme hot, cold, and humid conditions.
  2. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  3. Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
  4. Must be able to access and navigate all areas of a construction/restoration site in all types of weather.

Environmental Conditions:

  1. Exposure to general office conditions while conducting office duties.
  2. Exposure to outdoor conditions, including inclement weather, when conducting site visits.
  3. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
