Key Responsibilities:
The Gaming Operations Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to all patrons while overseeing staff and managing daily operations during assigned shifts in the Gaming department.
Throughout each shift, the Assistant Manager will engage with guests and team members across various gaming areas to promote and ensure the highest standards of customer service.
It is essential to identify and rectify any operational shortcomings to maintain this level of service.
Collaborating closely with the Gaming Shift Managers, the Assistant Manager will help implement and monitor strategies related to customer service, game layout and mix, revenue enhancement, and cost management to optimize profitability.
Support and manage operational objectives while tracking performance and profit targets for the Gaming department.
Assist in resolving team member concerns and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service.
Work alongside supervisors to ensure that gaming operations adhere to company standards.
Maintain a visible presence on the gaming floor at all times.
Assist in the organization and management of all documentation, logs, schedules, and communications related to the Gaming department.
Collaborate with other operational departments to uphold the highest standards of service and safety for both guests and team members.
Other related duties include understanding and complying with the following: Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal Anti-Money Laundering requirements, company policies, and IRS reporting.
Required Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old and capable of obtaining and maintaining a Colorado Support Gaming License.
1 year of prior dealing experience is preferred.
Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and other departments.
Excellent guest service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to communicate information clearly through spoken and written language.
Strong reading comprehension skills for understanding written instructions and information.
Solid general mathematical abilities.
Capability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
Ability to bend, stoop, and use hands continuously.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
