Material Handler 2nd Shift Position

At SpaceX, we are actively developing the technologies to make humanity's exploration of the stars possible. As a Material Handler 2nd Shift, you will play a crucial role in supporting production and engineering with the movement of parts to meet the master schedule.
Key responsibilities include physically moving and expediting materials, verifying packaging and banding for transport, and assisting with loading and unloading of trucks. You will also interface with receiving, quality control, purchasing, and other related departments to resolve problems relative to receipt and distribution of material.
Additionally, you will operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts. To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 2 years of expediting/material handling experience, and experience operating a forklift and/or material handling motorized vehicles and equipment.
Preferred skills and experience include ERP experience, working with aircraft or automotive parts and assemblies, and ability to lift 30 lbs. You must also be able to work in an open-air environment, lacking temperature control, and be able to work all required shift days and hours, including overtime as necessary.
