CNC Machinist Position

At VetJobs, we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating multi-axis CNC Mills up to 5-axis, inspecting parts using hand tools to verify dimensions, and completing machining operations from blueprints, drawings, and/or verbal instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC Mills
Inspect parts using hand tools
Complete machining operations from blueprints and drawings
Work with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
Meet productivity expectations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
3+ years of experience in set up, operation, and/or programming of CNC mill
Ability to read and understand blueprints, GD&T, notes, and tolerances
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of basic G-Code and ability to make adjustments to feed/speed
Ability to use hand inspection tools to check machined features
Familiarity with multiple machine control, OSP, Fanuc, and Siemens
Experience working with various materials, such as Inconel, stainless steel, copper, and titanium
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Ability to stand for extended periods - 8 hours min
Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay range: $27.00/hour - $38.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
