This role offers a unique opportunity to join our production team as a Production Supervisor, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring our high standards of safety, quality, and production throughput are met. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing continuous improvement methodologies, fostering excellence in production processes, and mentoring colleagues to excel in their roles.
Job OverviewThis Production Supervisor position is a key role in our manufacturing operations, requiring a strong focus on safety, quality, and production efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules. Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering a collaborative team environment, encouraging continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Quality - Enforce and promote strict safety protocols and guidelines, conducting regular safety audits and inspections to address potential hazards.
- Leadership and Supervision - Lead and oversee a team of production associates, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Throughput and Operational Excellence - Collaborate with the production team to meet and exceed production targets, identifying opportunities for process optimization to enhance efficiency and throughput.
- Continuous Improvement - Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Team Development - Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Communication and Coordination - Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination in the production process.
- Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or production role.
- Skills and Qualities - Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve high standards of safety, quality, and production efficiency.
- Technical Skills - Proficiency in operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, with a focus on optimizing production processes and reducing waste.
Three Dog Brands offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off. The estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
